Federal Payments

Kevin Comer here back with the Report. Congress has agreed on a new package that will help millions of the newly unemployed. The major details are:

  • Taxpayers will get $1,200 if they make less than $75,000, and an additional $500 for each child.

  • Unemployment is extended and will include freelancers and gig workers. As my Report on Unemployment suggested last week, apply with the State of Florida for benefits, as eligibility has expanded.

  • Small businesses can get emergency loans if they keep their workers. More details on this will be released soon so our Report will make sure you know the rules.

  • Also, hospitals and big businesses are eligible for aid.

  • Congress is expected to approve this all later this week, so final details will soon be released.

Make sure to sign up for the Report’s email list at the bottom of this page to get all the latest info on how to claim help during this crisis.

Sincerely,

Comer Law
