Here are local updates for the Pinellas and Hillsborough community.
First, Tampa Mayor Jane Castro intends to launch a stay at home order for Tampa soon.
St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman also intends to do that across the bay.
Kriseman says he is working with leaders across the area for a coordinated regional response.
While Governor DeSantis is still hesitant for a statewide stay at home order, he has ordered people coming in from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to self-quarantine for 14 days.
