The latest update on unemployment is not any better than the last ones. 180,000 Floridians filed for unemployment just this past week. There are still enormous problems with the system, and most people haven’t seen a dime.
There is a backlog of unemployment applications, but the brand new website is functioning better.
Governor DeSantis admitted that the system is so bad that he doesn’t know how many applications have been filed or how many people have been paid.
